Terms applicable to any transport service booked with VTC and GO. This translation is provided for information; only the French version is legally binding.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
01 · Preamble
VTC and GO, a société à responsabilité limitée à associé unique (French single-member limited liability company) with share capital of 1 500 €, SIREN 879 987 006, whose registered office is at 21 rue de la Montagne de l'Espérou, 75015 Paris, represented by its manager (gérant) Jordan Moussard, entered in the register of operators of chauffeur-driven passenger vehicles (REVTC register) under number EVTC075200028 (hereinafter "the Provider"), operates a private chauffeur business based in the Paris region.
Where a service requires a vehicle of a particular category, a greater capacity or several vehicles, VTC and GO may call upon a selected network of partner private chauffeurs, under its sole responsibility towards the Client.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the "Terms", in French "CGV") set out the conditions under which VTC and GO provides its services and govern all contractual relations with its clients.
02 · Scope
The Terms apply to any booking or request for a quotation made with VTC and GO, whatever the ordering channel (website, telephone, WhatsApp, SMS, e-mail).
Where necessary, they distinguish between the provisions applicable to consumer clients, within the meaning of the preliminary article of the Code de la consommation (French Consumer Code), and those applicable to business clients.
Any booking constitutes unreserved acceptance of the Terms in force on the date of the order. VTC and GO may amend them at any time; the applicable version is the one in force on the day the booking is confirmed.
03 · Booking and formation of the contract
Bookings may be made online on the website, by WhatsApp, by SMS, by e-mail or by telephone. The Client provides the information required to perform the service: identity, contact details, pick-up address and time, destination, vehicle category, number of passengers, luggage, special requirements and, where applicable, flight or train number.
For a consumer client, the contract is formed upon receipt of payment or, where the journey must first be validated by VTC and GO, upon the confirmation sent by VTC and GO. For a business client under a framework agreement, it is formed by the express written agreement of VTC and GO. Every confirmation is sent to the Client by e-mail.
The Client undertakes to provide accurate and complete information. Any error attributable to the Client (wrong address, incorrect flight number, understated number of passengers) is the Client's sole responsibility and may give rise to additional invoicing based on the costs actually incurred.
04 · Prices and quotations
Prices are stated in euros inclusive of all taxes (VAT at 10% for a transfer, 20% for a chauffeur-at-disposal service) and include a professional chauffeur holding a VTC card (chauffeur licence), the vehicle of the selected category, fuel and compulsory insurance. Unless otherwise stated, tolls and parking fees incurred for the service are not included and may be recharged at actual cost.
Each service is subject to a firm price confirmed before it is performed: no automatic surcharge is applied without the Client's knowledge. A price displayed on the website is valid for the period indicated at the time of the request. A quotation issued by VTC and GO is valid for fifteen (15) days from its issue, unless a different period is stated on the quotation.
Any service with specific characteristics (extended chauffeur-at-disposal service, long distance, event, several vehicles) is subject to an individual quotation.
05 · Payment
Consumer clients: payment is made at the time of booking, unless VTC and GO expressly agrees otherwise. Accepted methods: online bank card payment on the website (including Apple Pay and Google Pay), bank card on board.
Approved business clients: payment is made in accordance with the commercial agreement (purchase order, billing reference), by bank transfer or by card. Unless otherwise specified, invoices are payable thirty (30) days from the invoice date.
In accordance with Article L. 441-10 of the Code de commerce (French Commercial Code), any late payment by a business client automatically gives rise to late payment penalties at the applicable statutory rate and to the fixed indemnity for recovery costs of €40.
In the event of a good-faith dispute over an invoice, the Client has seven (7) days from its receipt to report it in writing, stating the reason. Failing this, the invoice is deemed accepted.
06 · No right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the Code de la consommation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency. The cancellation terms below apply.
07 · Cancellation
The Client cancels the journey themselves from their "My booking" page (link received upon booking) or on WhatsApp, or in writing (e-mail or SMS). The cancellation takes effect at the date and time it is confirmed; the amount to be refunded is displayed before confirmation and the refund is initiated automatically.
- More than 24 hours before the pick-up time: free of charge, full refund.
- Between 24 hours and 6 hours before: 50% of the price of the service remains payable.
- Less than 6 hours before: 100% of the price of the service remains payable.
These terms apply to all services, save for any specific conditions stated on a quotation for an event or a multi-vehicle service. Refunds are made using the payment method used at the time of booking, within fourteen (14) days at most from the date on which the cancellation takes effect.
08 · Delays and waiting time
The pick-up time is the one stated in the confirmation. VTC and GO undertakes to respect it, subject to force majeure and traffic conditions.
A courtesy waiting period of fifteen (15) minutes is granted at any pick-up address other than an airport. Beyond this, waiting time is chargeable at the hourly waiting rate for the vehicle category, stated on the quotation or communicated before the service. No waiting time is charged where the delay is attributable to VTC and GO or its partners.
Waiting at a stop: where the Client books a stop with a waiting time (appointment, visit, treatment), the chauffeur stays with the Client on site, vehicle included, for the time chosen. This time is included in the price shown, at the waiting rate in force. If the wait runs over the time booked, the excess is charged at the same rate, per quarter of an hour started, after the service.
09 · Airports and railway stations
For a pick-up on arrival of a flight whose number was provided at the time of booking, VTC and GO tracks the actual landing time. A free waiting period of sixty (60) minutes is granted from landing, covering disembarkation, border control and baggage collection. Beyond this, waiting time is chargeable under the conditions of Article 08.
A delayed flight does not constitute a delay attributable to the Client and gives rise to no charge, provided that the flight number was correctly provided.
At a railway station, the courtesy waiting period of fifteen (15) minutes runs from the scheduled arrival time of the train, provided that the train number was given. If the flight or train is cancelled, the Client informs VTC and GO as soon as possible; rescheduling is offered where possible.
10 · Client absent (no-show)
A Client is deemed absent where, on expiry of the applicable courtesy waiting period, the Client does not appear at the pick-up point, cannot be reached on the telephone number provided and does not respond to the chauffeur's attempts to make contact.
In the event of a confirmed no-show, the full price of the service remains payable, together with any justified costs (tolls, waiting time, vehicle downtime). The Client is encouraged to notify VTC and GO at the slightest doubt: a delay reported in advance often makes it possible to arrange a suitable pick-up.
11 · Changes to a service
Any change (address, time, destination, passengers, additional stop, extension) must be requested in writing and approved by VTC and GO, subject to operational constraints.
A change involving no additional time, distance, toll or service gives rise to no supplement. Otherwise, VTC and GO informs the Client of the additional charge before the service is performed. Any accepted change is confirmed in writing.
12 · Chauffeur at disposal
Placing a chauffeur at the Client's disposal for a fixed period is a firm booking: the booked duration is payable in full, including in the event of an early return.
Any overrun is charged at the hourly chauffeur-at-disposal rate for the vehicle category, stated at the time of booking, with each quarter of an hour begun being payable. Tolls, parking and any meal or accommodation costs of the chauffeur are not included and are recharged at actual cost on presentation of supporting documents.
13 · Luggage and passengers
The number of passengers and items of luggage is stated at the time of booking, and the vehicle category is selected accordingly. Any bulky or non-standard luggage (skis, pushchair, folding wheelchair, golf equipment, professional equipment) must be declared at the time of booking: failing this, it may be refused if the vehicle does not have the necessary capacity.
The transport of children is subject to the regulations in force. Child seats and booster seats are provided if requested at the time of booking; failing this, the Client provides the appropriate restraint. Unaccompanied minors are carried only after express approval by VTC and GO.
Animals may be carried only with the prior agreement of VTC and GO.
14 · Conduct and safety
Wearing a seat belt is compulsory in every seat fitted with one. The following are prohibited on board: smoking and electronic cigarettes, unauthorised drinks, and any dangerous behaviour or behaviour liable to endanger the safety of the chauffeur, the passengers or the vehicle.
The chauffeur may terminate the service in the event of behaviour endangering safety, a breach of public order, threats, insults or damage. The full price then remains payable, without prejudice to Article 15 and to any other remedies.
15 · Damage and cleaning
The Client is responsible for any damage to or soiling of the vehicle caused by the Client or by the passengers in the Client's charge. Reconditioning costs (cleaning, repair, disinfection) are recharged at actual cost, on presentation of supporting documents. Where the vehicle is out of service beyond routine cleaning, this may give rise to compensation corresponding to the reasonable loss of operating income, also on presentation of supporting documents.
No automatic flat fee is applied: only the actual cost borne by VTC and GO is recharged.
16 · Liability
VTC and GO performs the service with the professionalism and diligence expected of a private chauffeur. It may be held liable only in the event of proven fault in the performance of the service.
VTC and GO is not liable for indirect loss (missed connection, meeting or appointment) where the service was performed under the confirmed conditions and times, nor for delays due to circumstances beyond its control (exceptional traffic, roadworks, demonstrations, weather, security checks, incidents on the road, rail or airport networks).
VTC and GO is insured with BPCE IARD (Chauray, BP 8410, 79024 Niort Cedex 9, France): motor third-party liability for the vehicle, which covers the passengers carried in accordance with Article L. 3120-4 of the Code des transports (French Transport Code) (policy no. 175053548J-AUT-001), and professional civil liability (policy no. 175053548J-MCE-001).
It is the Client's responsibility to collect their personal belongings at the end of the service. VTC and GO uses reasonable means to return items left behind, but cannot be held liable in the event of loss.
17 · Force majeure
Neither party is liable for any failure resulting from an event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the Code civil (French Civil Code): natural disaster, epidemic, act of terrorism, general transport strike, decision of a public authority restricting traffic, major incident on the road or airport network. VTC and GO then informs the Client as soon as possible and offers, where possible, a postponement or a refund.
18 · Personal data
Data collected in connection with a booking, a quotation or a contact request is processed in accordance with the GDPR (in French "RGPD") and with amended French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978. The purposes, retention periods and the Client's rights are set out in the Privacy Policy, accessible from the footer.
19 · Complaints
Any complaint relating to a service must be sent in writing to contact@vtc-and-go.com as soon as possible after the end of the service. VTC and GO acknowledges receipt within forty-eight (48) business hours and provides a reasoned response within a reasonable time.
20 · Mediation
In accordance with Articles L. 616-1 and R. 616-1 of the Code de la consommation, a consumer Client who has not obtained satisfaction after a written complaint to VTC and GO may refer the matter free of charge to a médiateur de la consommation (consumer mediator), within one year of the complaint. Recourse to mediation does not deprive the Client of the right to bring the matter before the competent court.
VTC and GO's consumer mediator is Médiation de la Consommation & Patrimoine (MCP), 12 square Desnouettes, 75015 Paris, France. The matter may be referred online at www.mcpmediation.org or by post to that address, enclosing the written complaint previously sent to VTC and GO.
21 · Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
Consumer clients: in accordance with Articles R. 631-3 and R. 631-4 of the Code de la consommation, the Client may bring proceedings, at their choice, before the court of the place where they resided when the contract was concluded, the court of the place where the harmful event occurred, or the court of the defendant's domicile.
Business clients: failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the territorial jurisdiction of Paris.
